Rest at peace
Phew, finally i can shut my eyes and rest at peace. i have successfully tendered my resignation letter this afternoon. many thanks to many people who has helped me to get over this critical moment. with trembling hands and beads of perspiration, i faced boss the second time for the discussion of my leaving. well at the end of the day i was relieved to recieve his final approval though it's an unwilling agreement- his raging eyes nearly killed me. my lab is indeed short handed now due to the leaving of two other members and unfortunately i became the third one. i truly understand that the timing is not right but it's unintentionally. I have considered the situation very carefully and felt that i should not let off this opportunity that i been longing for.
