A STRONG MIND STARTS WITH A FIT BODY
After joining the Citibank vertical marathon and having to climb up the 42 flight of stairs in about 7 minutes, I told myself I can do better than this.
The first step in achieving my target is to set aside some time for exercise. Truthfully, it was very hard to stick to the exercise regime initially. Well... afterall I found that it's all a matter of working around your schedule and with the end in mind. So the end result I want to see from myself is firstly to lose weight and body fat. Secondly is to stop myself from getting too tired easily especially after a busy day at work. When your metabolism increases you do not feel so sleepy or you will not feel lethargic and be much more alert.
As a Citibanker, we are entitled to join the FitnessFit Club under the corporate price. The best part is that it can be claimed from the company since each employee is entitled to utilise a certain sum of money throughout a year. Ever since joining the club, I have been hitting the gym almost every other day. So far the most toughest class would be the pilates session. Nevertheless, I still quite like the program and the best outcome is the strengthening of the torso muscles. Whoosh!
