Ohaiyo Gozaimasu

Devil crept into my night...
Out of the dark and into the light
When the morning comes
I will be alright
And all this time I've watched it change
But it's still the same
In the morning...
In the morning...

eat one's heart out

haa my food resource came from 700c village...
I know seeing is believing - by watching and learn to make the dishes for myself. but....
i chose to appreciate the food prepared by a skinny star chef.

the menu has a list of the following:

  1. seafood spaghetti
  2. luncheon fried rice
  3. roti prata
  4. ham and tuna sandwich
  5. strawberry beancurd
and many more to come out with...

welcome to busy bees

ever since the end of the 1 week break , hectic days start to set in once again. almost fainted when i looked into the full length mirror because the most irritating eye bags came in appearance... ample sleep is what i need most. for the past few months, my day begun at six in the morning and ended at ten in the night. work and work in the enclosed hospital lab. no exposure to the sun but only the moonlight when i walked back home at the end of each day. dancing in the moonlight? that's the only delight i can get for myself.......

Fragaria virginiana

this is the scientific name of my most likeable fruit - strawberry
the name can undoubtedly tell you that strawberries have fragrantly sweet juiciness... oh ya if you are not aware, weijing likes strawberry ice cream, strawberry milkshake, strawberry mochi and the lovely american doll- strawberry shortcake...

but you know the word strawberry ain't a good word for the young taiwanese... recently young chaps in taiwan are dubbed as ''generation strawberry'' a description that suggests that they are like strawberry which bruise easily, spoiled by good life, crumble under the slightest pressure, many of them just quit their jobs when the going gets tough.

they are remarkably known as serial job hopper and it seems that it isn't a big issue to them! moreover their parents won't pressure their children to find job after studies thus their needs have been well taken of since they were young.. i was wondering that could i be like them, so carefree, so bo chap, just work as and when they feel like to.

i answered to myself within three seconds and it is a big big NO! simply because, i am not born affluent and therefore if i am jobless after my studies my face would be definitely seen on the obituary page of straits times. this is no joke, they will chase me out of the house. in fact, most of us in singapore are instill with the belief that hard work brings success and a desire to climb the corporate ladder.

singaporeans jia you!

yummy strawberries are for us to flavour and enjoy yea!
