One throwaway comment. That's all it can take to undermine your self confidence. Nasty remark can just stay with you for the long term and thus making you feel upset... Today a negative comment crush my confidence and even affect my behaviour. Well the put down doesn't have to stay with me. I would presume that the person who said it probably forgot it after five minutes so just choose not to remember and regain your control.
